Informed Capitalists know that Georgia has had it's problems with Russia in the last few years. However, According to Pravda.ru, in an apparent slap in the face to Moscow, they have decided to dismantle a monument to "The Great Patriotic War" (or World War II as it's known pretty much everywhere outside of Russia). Furthermore, they will finish this work on December 21st, which, as all good Pinko Commies know, is Joseph Stalin's birthday!

Happy Birthday Joseph Stalin!

We are proud of Georgia for doing this, even in the face of possible attack from the Evil Empire. As a show of appreciation, pinkomenace.com will not run any articles demeaning that country as puppets of Russia, or making fun of them for formerly being a part of the Soviet Union.*
According to Pravda, a new Georgian parlimentary building is to be built on this spot. The article goes on to say that the monument will be rebuilt elsewhere. However, according to Sergey Stepashin, the head of Russia’s Audit Office, “The Georgian authorities do not dismantle the memorial in Kutaisi – they explode it. They destroy history and memory of the victims." In a typical Soviet-era half-truth, Pravda named the article "Soviet War Memorial to be Exploded in Georgia on Stalin's Birthday." In Russia, apparently "exploded means to be disassembled in an orderly fashion.
