Anatov An-225, Giant Pinko Airplane

Although not necessarily a new threat as it first flew in December of 1988, new possibilities for the Anatov An-225 could be construed as a major threat the the US.

Yes, it's quite large

The Russian An-225 is by far the largest jet in existence and is capable of carrying a cargo of up to a massive 550,000 pounds internally. It has also been used to transport the pinko version of the space shuttle, the Buran.

Internally, it's carrying capacity at 550,000 pounds would work out to be 3142 Soviet troops at 175 lbs each. Interestingly, three of these planes fully loaded with troops would be around 2% of the population of smaller states like Wyoming, Vermont, or even Alaska... Yes, Alaska, the territory sold from Russia to the United States in 1867. A state that is now only guarded by the likes of Sarah Palin and several indigenous Eskimos. Ever since 1867 and especially after discovery of oil and gold there, Russia has longed to take Alaska back for the Motherland.

Yes, that's 32 wheels. Better get out of the way.

Alaskans are generally regarded as fairly tough and self-sufficient, however, outside of the top five cities, none has a population of over 8000 people. Three Anatovs packed with over 3000 troops each should be able to overrun and occupy these cities one by one. Given a couple of trips, there could be tens of thousands of Soviets making their way across the countryside. A prime Soviet target, of course would be the city of Kalifornsky, which, judging solely by it's name, has been looking to be annexed by either California or Russia for quite some time. Anchorage, with it's 260,000 citizens, should be the only challenging city population-wise, but they could certainly be softened up with various Soviet means such as a "cat attack" or simply aerial bombardment.

Although there is reportedly only one functional An-225 in existence, this information comes from the freely-editable Wikipedia. Soviet agents would never let the true number of this excellent weapon come out on the internet, especially when they could simply change the number any time they want. Besides, two, three or more planes would not be that hard to hide in the vastness of Siberia or other Pinko lands.

Although this plan for re-annexation of Alaska can not be confirmed at this time, it is nonetheless in the ream of possibilities. We hope that the Alaska National Guard is already prepared for this threat, but only time will tell if the measures they have taken prove effective.
